Despite 65% of the world being online, few businesses operate globally due to the challenge of understanding context-specific knowledge in different countries. For instance, U.S. recruiters might not know India's top universities, and Indian salespeople might not be familiar with U.S. distributors.
We think the key to real globalization is converting this country-specific knowledge into a format everyone can understand.
That's why we created Redrob, a global people search platform. It leverages what we call 'cross-border AI' to structure global people data, making sales, hiring, and networking possible worldwide.
Mission
- We are reorganizing the world’s people data to enable sales, recruitment, and networking.
- In doing so we make opportunities accessible to everyone across the globe.
Story
Founding Story
- In 2018 as a corporate attorney Felix observed trust issues in global business and quit his job to tackle this problem. He incorporated in South Korea as ‘McKinley Rice, Inc.’, originally named after U.S. President William McKinley and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for their foreign policies, and flew to India to kickstart a global IT outsourcing agency. After five years of bootstrapping and learning the necessity of a network for globally-oriented individuals and businesses, Felix spearheaded the creation of Redrob. This platform, focused on global recruiting and online skill testing, achieved $2.1M in annual recurring revenue.
- Redrob completed its first seed fundraising round of $4M in August 2023, co-led by Murex Partners and DS&Partners, whose notable landmark investments include South Korean tech unicorns such as Musinsa, Market Kurly, and Yanolja.
- Today, Redrob is building a cutting-edge people search engine powered by cross-border AI.
